Keeping Your Eyes Happy & Healthy

Early diagnosis is the key to protecting your vision. At Lieberman & Lieberman, we use cutting-edge technology and decades of experience to detect and treat eye disease — often before you notice any symptoms at all. Regular comprehensive eye exams are the foundation of everything we do.

Diabetic Retinopathy

For patients with diabetes, we perform specialized diabetic eye exams using fundus photography to capture detailed images of the back of the eye. This allows us to identify the earliest signs of diabetic retinopathy — swelling or leaking blood vessels that can lead to vision loss or blindness — long before symptoms appear.

Presbyopia

If close-up tasks like reading have become a struggle, you may be experiencing presbyopia, a natural part of aging. We’ll evaluate your vision and recommend the right corrective lenses or other solutions to help you see clearly at every distance.

Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)

Whether your pink eye is caused by a bacterial infection, a virus, or an allergic reaction, we’ll identify the cause and recommend the right course of treatment to get you comfortable again quickly.

Cataracts

We monitor cataract progression over time and help you adapt at every stage — from stronger prescription lenses in the early stages to co-managing cataract surgery when the time comes. You won’t navigate this condition alone.

Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)

We screen for AMD as part of our comprehensive eye exams and work with you to manage the condition and slow its progression. Catching it early is critical, since untreated AMD can lead to permanent central vision loss.

Glaucoma

Known as the “silent thief of sight,” glaucoma often causes no noticeable symptoms until serious damage has already occurred. We use a range of diagnostic tests during comprehensive eye exams to detect elevated eye pressure and early optic nerve changes — giving you the best chance at preserving your vision.

Dry Eye

Dry eye is more than an inconvenience — left untreated, it can cause lasting damage. We diagnose dry eye using tools like the Schirmer test and develop a personalized treatment plan that may include prescription eye drops, short-term steroid therapy, or lubricating inserts for more severe cases. Contact lens wearers are welcome to book a specialized contact lens exam to find the best lens option for their eyes.

Digital Eye Strain

If hours in front of a screen are leaving your eyes tired, dry, or achy, we can help. We’ll assess your symptoms, check for any underlying vision issues that may be making things worse, and give you practical guidance — including the 20-20-20 rule and ergonomic recommendations — to reduce strain and keep your eyes comfortable.

Laser Eye Surgery

If you’re tired of glasses or contacts, laser eye surgery may be an option. Our optometrists provide thorough pre- and post-operative care for LASIK, LASEK, PRK, and other procedures. We’ll help you determine whether you’re a good candidate, guide you through your options, and support your recovery every step of the way.
